This beginner-friendly workshop introduces you to sketching birds with a focus on shape, form and observation. It’s ideal for those new to sketching, as well as anyone looking to explore a new creative subject.

You’ll learn simple sketching techniques to help break birds down into manageable shapes, building confidence in capturing proportions. If time allows, we’ll add a light wash of watercolour to bring your sketches to life, showing how drawing and paint can work together without overcomplicating the process.

What do I need to bring?

  • You do not need to bring anything with you, everything is included in the workhsop.

Our workshops include unlimited tea and coffee and we usually have biscuits and/or cake too. 

Level:  Beginners, no previous experience necessary.

Terms & Conditions - The fee for the workshop is payable when booking. If you need to cancel your booking, we are unable to offer a refund. You may however be able to nominate someone else to attend the workshop in your place. We reserve the right to cancel a workshop up to 48 hours prior to the workshop date. We will only cancel due to sickness or insufficient places sold.  If we have to cancel you will be refunded the full amount paid or given the option to transfer your booking to another workshop.
